A creamy, comforting Italian-American classic combining tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and fettuccine pasta in a rich, homemade Alfredo sauce. This restaurant-quality dish is surprisingly easy to make at home.

- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; add broccoli during last 4 minutes.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper; sauté in olive oil until golden (6-8 minutes).
- In same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (1 minute).
- Add cream, bring to simmer, cook 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Combine sauce with pasta, broccoli, and chicken.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce
- Reserve 1 cup pasta water to thin sauce if needed
- For lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream
- Garnish with extra Parmesan and black pepper
