Description

  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, whisk sugar, eggs, oil, applesauce, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined. Gently stir in apples and walnuts.
  • Pour into prepared pan and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
