- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook in butter over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In same pan, sauté garlic in remaining butter until fragrant. Add heavy cream, bring to simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until sauce thickens. Return chicken to pan, cook 3-5 minutes until heated through.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting
- For thinner chicken breasts, pound to even thickness
- Sauce can be made ahead and reheated gently
