Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook in butter over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • In same pan, sauté garlic in remaining butter until fragrant. Add heavy cream, bring to simmer.
  • Stir in parmesan cheese until sauce thickens. Return chicken to pan, cook 3-5 minutes until heated through.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting
  • For thinner chicken breasts, pound to even thickness
  • Sauce can be made ahead and reheated gently
