  • 1/2 cup fresh or dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté onion and celery in a skillet over medium heat until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, mix ground sausage, breadcrumbs, sautéed veggies, herbs, eggs, cranberries, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Form mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Prepare the cranberry dipping sauce by mixing cranberry sauce with lemon juice until smooth.
