- 2 pounds lean ground turkey
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup finely diced red onion
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped oregano
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, feta, onion, garlic, herbs, egg, and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined – don’t overmix.
- Form mixture into 24 evenly-sized meatballs (about 2 tablespoons each).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
Notes
- Keep mixture cold while forming meatballs for easier handling
- Can be baked at 400°F for 20 minutes instead of pan-frying
