  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gradually sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree with a bit of sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract for the swirl.
  5. Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Add dollops of pumpkin mixture on top and then pour remaining brownie batter over it.
  6. Use a knife to create swirls without overmixing.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
