Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes (about 810 ounces each)
  • 1 cup water
  • Optional toppings: butter, salt, pepper, cinnamon

Instructions

  • Wash sweet potatoes thoroughly and pierce each several times with a fork.
  • Place trivet in Instant Pot and add 1 cup water.
  • Arrange sweet potatoes on trivet.
  • Seal lid and set to Manual/Pressure Cook for 15 minutes (small potatoes) or 20 minutes (large potatoes).
  • Natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.

Notes

  • Cooking time varies based on potato size: 15 minutes for small/medium, 20 minutes for large
