- 8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, then remove from heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan.
- Fold in the meat sauce mixture and stir until evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with extra mozzarella cheese if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or some chopped jalapeños to the meat sauce.
- You can make this dish ahead of time and refrigerate it before baking. Just bake it for 40-45 minutes if it’s chilled.
