  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan.
  • Fold in the meat sauce mixture and stir until evenly combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with extra mozzarella cheese if desired.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
