Ingredients

- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat cream cheese, butter, and sugars until fluffy (3 minutes).
- Add eggs and vanilla, beat until combined.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill dough for 1 hour.
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets.
- Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
Notes
- Don’t overbake; cookies should be slightly soft in center
- Store in refrigerator for up to 5 days
- Can freeze dough for up to 3 months
