Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Coat the chicken thighs with the oil and spice mixture.
Grill the Chicken
- Place the chicken on the grill, skin side down, and cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and brush with barbecue sauce. Cook for another 10-12 minutes, basting with more sauce halfway through.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serve
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
