Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
  3. In a small bowl, mix all the dry rub ingredients together.
  4. Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Cook the Ribs
  1. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
  2. Cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, maintaining a steady temperature.
  3. Remove the ribs from the foil and brush both sides with BBQ sauce.
  4. Grill the ribs for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more sauce every 10 minutes.
Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Slice between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
