Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
- In a small bowl, mix all the dry rub ingredients together.
- Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Cook the Ribs
- Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
- Cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, maintaining a steady temperature.
- Remove the ribs from the foil and brush both sides with BBQ sauce.
- Grill the ribs for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more sauce every 10 minutes.
Serve
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
