- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then brown them in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- In a bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, chicken broth, and water until well combined.
- Place the browned chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the gravy mixture over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to combine with the gravy.
- Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
