  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for browning chicken

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then brown them in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, chicken broth, and water until well combined.
  3. Place the browned chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the gravy mixture over the top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to combine with the gravy.
  6. Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
