Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, mangoes, or apples) Chopped and pitted if necessary
Sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Optional, adjust based on fruit sweetness
Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice To enhance flavor and preserve color

Method
 

Prepare the Fruit
  1. Wash and chop the fruit into small pieces, removing any pits or stems.
Blend the Mixture
  1. In a blender, combine the chopped fruit, honey or maple syrup (if using), and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
Prepare the Baking Sheet
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
Spread the Mixture
  1. Pour the fruit puree onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula to about 1/8 inch thick.
Dry the Fruit Leather
  1. Preheat the oven to 170°F (77°C). Place the baking sheet in the oven and let it dry for about 3 hours, or until the fruit leather is no longer sticky to the touch.
Cut and Store
  1. Once dried, remove from the oven and let it cool. Cut into strips and roll them up in parchment paper for storage.
