Method
- Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the puff pastry package.
- Roll out the puff pastry gently on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into the shape of a Christmas tree.
- Spread a generous cup of Nutella evenly over the pastry.
- Fold the edges of the pastry inward to create the traditional tree shape.
- Brush the entire tree with the beaten egg for an egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar and add toppings.
