How to Make Holiday Wraps
- Start by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Next, add 1 lb of ground turkey to the skillet. Cook it, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it's no longer pink, which should take about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in 2 cups of mixed vegetables along with 1 teaspoon each of dried thyme and rosemary, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the vegetables are tender, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and fold in 1 cup of shredded cheese until it melts beautifully into the mixture, creating a scrumptious filling.
- Take one large tortilla and place a generous portion of the turkey mixture in the center. Wrap it securely, then serve with your choice of sour cream or guacamole for an extra burst of flavor.
