Method
Prepare the Cake Base
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine your cake mix, eggs, water, and oil. Mix until smooth. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the batter into it. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Prepare the Jello
- In a separate bowl, dissolve one package of jello powder in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved, then add ice cubes to cool it down quickly. Set aside.
Poke Holes in the Cake
- After the cake cools for about 15 minutes, poke holes across the surface using the handle of a wooden spoon or a skewer, aiming for about an inch apart.
