Ingredients
  

For the Miso Glaze
  • 1 tablespoon white miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Miso Glaze
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
Prepare the Salmon
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it.
  3. Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the miso glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake the Salmon
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Optional: Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a caramelized top.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  2. Serve with steamed rice and vegetables, if desired.
