  • 1/4 cup Red Onion Finely chopped.
  • 1/4 cup Dill Pickles Chopped, for tangy contrast.

  • 4 slices Bread of Choice Whole grain or sourdough recommended.
  • 4 leaves Lettuce Crisp leaves like romaine or iceberg.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients for your tuna sandwich.
  2. Open the can of tuna and drain it well. In a bowl, combine the tuna with mayonnaise and diced celery.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Grab two slices of bread and spread an even layer of the tuna mixture on one slice.
  5. Add lettuce and sliced tomatoes on top, then place the other slice of bread on top to complete the sandwich.
